The customer portal also shows any scheduled or past dumpster rental events such as drop-offs, pick-ups, and exchanges.

Any additional fees during the rental period, including overweight fees, extra days, or additional fee items, are billed after the rental is dumped, to the card that was used at the time of ordering.
Where should I have the dumpster placed?
Select a location for the dumpster that is convenient for loading debris and easily accessible for the driver during drop-off and pick-up, ensuring no obstructions. Optimal choices include hard, level surfaces like asphalt driveways or concrete slabs. Keep in mind that the dumpster door requires 8 feet of space behind it to swing open fully. If a driveway isn't an option, be cautious of potential damage to grass, as dumpsters and delivery trucks are heavy and can sink into soft or wet ground. Additionally, consider overhead power and communication lines, as they can potentially obstruct the placement of the dumpster and pose safety hazards while loading and unloading. It's best to choose a spot that isn't directly underneath such lines to avoid any complications or risks during the rental period.
What items can I dispose of in the dumpster?
Our dumpsters can handle most types of waste including household junk, yard waste, stumps, construction and demolition debris. However, hazardous wastes, oil, pressurized tanks, asbestos, and chemicals are not allowed due to safety and environmental regulations. A quick reference guide will be provided for you at the time of drop-off and is available here.
Can I rent more than one dumpster at a time?
Yes. We are able to accommodate projects that necessitate multiple dumpsters. Frequently, you can save time and money on a job by renting two smaller dumpsters instead of a single large dumpster. This can be achieved by strategically placing two dumpsters on site to minimize walking distance and to provide the added benefit of always having one available even if the other is full. If you are uncertain about your requirements, our team is available to assist in determining the optimal waste management solution for your project.
What is the process for having the dumpster picked up?
Your dumpster will be picked up on the date scheduled at the time of ordering; no call to request pick-up is required. Your pick-up date will be determined based on your rental period and will be shown on your invoice. If you need to extend the rental period beyond this, you may request additional days during the order process, or you can contact us to have the rental period extended. Additionally, you may request the dumpster be picked up earlier than scheduled.
How far in advance should I reserve a dumpster?
During busier seasons, we strongly advise booking your dumpster as early as possible to secure availability, particularly for larger dumpsters. We do our utmost to accommodate customers who require same-day or next-day rentals.
Does Wormwood Disposal operate on weekends and holidays?
Yes. Wormwood Disposal operates 7 days a week, so feel free to give us a call. We also pick up and drop off dumpsters on weekends and holidays.
